Terms of Service

These terms are intentionally plain. We describe what the service is, what we expect from you, and what you can expect from us. If something is unclear, email us.

Who operates this service

The Futures Hub B.V. (trading as Flux Forward) operates all Flux Forward services, including the website at fluxforward.world, the app at app.fluxforward.world, and the blog at blog.fluxforward.world.

By using any Flux Forward service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

What the service is

Flux Forward is a software product. It provides a readiness signal tool (Activation Scan) and a personal dashboard to help internationals in the Netherlands understand and address the structural barriers they face in contributing to the Dutch economy and society. A signed-in account gives you free access to the core App; no paid subscription is required.

Support is included, and this is its scope. Every account comes with product support: help using Flux Forward, answers about what the product contains, and pointers to the public and official sources behind it. Flux Forward provides support by email and in the product, and decides how and through which channel to provide it. We do not review your personal situation or your documents, we do not tell you which option you personally qualify for, and we do not prepare written recommendations, plans or research for individual customers or organisations. For anything that decides your legal, immigration, tax, financial, health or employment position we will point you to the official source or to a qualified professional. Our support page sets this out in full.

The service includes:

An Activation Scan that identifies your primary activation dimension

A personal dashboard with your saved scan result and recommended next step

Fluxy is an AI assistant that helps you think through your next step. When you send a message, Flux Forward transmits the message and limited public-page context through its infrastructure to an AI provider to generate a reply. Chat history shown during the interaction is held in browser memory for the session. The service may store bounded usage and metering metadata. Platform and AI-provider retention settings are not yet fully verified, so do not submit confidential, sensitive, or special-category personal data. Fluxy is not a professional advisor.

Journey, an orientation area that currently shows example content to help you understand how a structured progression might look -- this does not reflect live account progress or a commitment to deliver a specific journey path

An event registration page for Flux Forward events -- when you register, you provide your name, email, optional role context, and optional newsletter consent, which are used to process your registration and send event-related communications

Support for using Flux Forward, included with every account, within the scope described above

Insights and events related to activation for internationals

Optional private packet pages for focused feedback, collaboration requests, and responses

Optional newsletter updates for people who explicitly subscribe

Your account

To save your scan result and access your dashboard, you create an account with your email address or Google account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.

You must be 16 or older to create an account, in accordance with Dutch and EU law.

You may delete your account at any time from your profile in the app, or by emailing hi@fluxforward.world. Deleting your account removes your account and the personal app data associated with it. We retain records required for legal, accounting and contract purposes, such as evidence of a separate paid purchase, only for the applicable retention period. Our Privacy Policy sets this out in full.

Optional paid purchases

The core Flux Forward App is free for signed-in users. Other products or services, such as publications or facilitated sessions, may be offered separately. Before you agree to a paid purchase, we will state its price, scope and applicable terms. A separate purchase is not required to use the core App.

If you have a question about a payment, cancellation, refund or withdrawal, contact hi@fluxforward.world. Any mandatory rights you have under Dutch or EU consumer law remain unaffected.

Private packet links and newsletter opt-in

Flux Forward may use private packet pages to ask for focused feedback, a contribution, a review, or a collaboration response. A packet page shows only the specific request shared with you. It does not give you access to FluxOS or any internal notes.

Some packet links may require a password. Others may be open to anyone who has the private link. If a link was not meant for you, please do not use it or forward it.

After submitting a packet response, you may see an optional newsletter step. Subscribing to Flux Forward Updates is separate from your packet response and requires your explicit consent. You can unsubscribe anytime.

What we expect from you

We ask that you use the service honestly and respectfully. Specifically, please do not:

Attempt to access other users' accounts or data

Use automated tools to scrape or overload the service

Misrepresent yourself or submit false information to obtain services

Resell the service, or provide it to a group of people on behalf of an organisation, without a written licence from us

Violation of these terms may result in suspension or termination of your account.

Service provided as-is

The Activation Scan is a self-assessment tool. It provides a reflection signal based on your answers, not a professional assessment, diagnosis, or advice of any kind. It is a starting point for your own thinking, not a substitute for qualified guidance. Results are intended as a starting point for reflection and action, not a guarantee of any outcome.

We provide the service as-is, without warranties of any kind — express or implied. We do not guarantee:

Uninterrupted or error-free availability of the service

That the scan result will lead to specific employment or career outcomes

Compatibility with all devices or browsers

To the extent permitted by Dutch law, our liability for any damages arising from use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. For free-tier users, this means we have no financial liability.

Intellectual property

All content on Flux Forward services — including the Activation Scan framework, written content, visual design, and software — is owned by The Futures Hub B.V. unless stated otherwise.

You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our content for commercial purposes without written permission. Sharing individual results for personal use (e.g. on LinkedIn) is permitted, provided Flux Forward is credited.

Your scan results and personal data belong to you. We process them on your behalf as described in our Privacy Policy.

Changes to the service and these terms

We may update the service, add or remove features, or change pricing at any time. We will give reasonable notice for changes that significantly affect existing users.

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes will be handled by the competent courts in the Netherlands.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under mandatory Dutch or EU consumer protection law.
